And so it Begins:
This is it, the start, the beginning. I have been thinking about this idea for a while now, “Start a blog” that little voice whispers, you know the one in your head, that you usually ignore? “Write down all the weird interesting things that float around and you just feel the need to finally capture them and put them in a place”. This is the place. This is where I want to write my ideas and thoughts on life and all things related to food. I am so out of practice in the art of putting thought into writing, so you are going to have to bear with me while I start to hone my scrambled scratchings into more concise patterns. My mission statement so to speak in regards to this place is to share: my world, my family and friends through the medium of food related things.
Most of the time, there will be a recipe in relation to whatever I am writing/ranting about, sometimes not. Sometimes there will be photos, taken (poorly) by me and sometimes beautiful ones taken by my husband, a professional food photographer actually.. Ps. You will be able to tell the difference immediately although I will endeavor to always credit the photographer. I will show events/ parties and will include decorating ideas, as I believe it is not all about the food, sometimes you have to set the scene. I think it will become evident to all, myself included how food and entertaining is the wheel around which everything in my world rotates.
